What a great way to kick-off 2008! This classic, Emmy award nominated TV series which first graced screens back in 1993, is about to make it’s debut on LIVING.
The series begins in 1966 where a couple who go by the name of Kent, witness the crash-landing of a small spaceship in Smallville, Kansas. When they investigate the wreck, they discover a baby and decide to raise him as their own, naming him “Clark Kent”.
Twenty-seven years later, Clark (Dean Cain) moves to Metropolis in search of a job. Luckily arrogant editor Perry White see’s his potential as a reporter and partners him up with star reporter Lois Lane (Teri Hatcher Desperate Housewives). Although Clark falls for Lois at first sight, this is not reciprocated. However, when Superman saves her, Lois instantly becomes infatuated with Clark’s alter-ego.
Superman’s first mission interferes with the illegal dealings of Lex Luthor, a benefactor to Metropolis who is secretly evil. After meeting with Lois Lane, Luthor starts falling for her; although Lois is receptive to his romantic advances, she remains infatuated with the Man of Steel.
