LOOK! Bear Grylls, Kylie Minogue, Russell Howard eat insects I’m A Celebrity style on Jonathan Ross Show!
Who’d have thought they’d see Kylie Minogue eat maggots!? Adventurer Bear Grylls challenges fellow guests Kylie, Russell Howard and Matt Bellamy from Muse to a game of ‘Bear’s Bullseye’. The guests use a bow and arrow to shoot a spinning target, containing faces of the players, and the person who is shot is forced to eat a delicacy found under a lid – unfortunately for them, there are crickets, locusts and maggots. Jonathan squeals as he puts a locust into his mouth!

But what makes Miss Minogue grumpy? “Running late,” she says. Luckily for Kylie, her boyfriend knows just how to deal with her moods. “Firstly he’ll keep his distance, wise move, or he’ll just make me laugh about something. He’s got a really good sense of humour,” explains Kylie.

“Can we talk about your backside?” asks Jonathan. “Let me just ask it, because it has it’s own PR team these days,” jokes Kylie.
As Jonathan asks Kylie how her bum has become so iconic, she laughs with bemusement. “I don’t know how it happened. Okay, so yes, I put them in gold hot pants, but really I don’t know…” says Kylie.

Kylie on highlights of her 25-year career (and getting Prince Charles to do The Locamotion)…
Kylie has had a successful career that has span 25 years, but what have been her highlights?
“Firstly getting a record deal, I was on Neighbours, as you know. The Locamotion being a hit, which led to so many other things. Maybe performing at the Olympics,” says Kylie.
This week Kylie gave a special performance for Prince Charles and Camilla. “It was to wish them well on their tour to Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. But the big news is – I think I made Prince Charles do The Locamotion. If we speak again in another 25 years that might be right up there,” laughs Kylie.

Bear on learning to backflip from YouTube…
In recent years, Bear has taught himself to backflip. He explains, “It was a few years ago now. I hit 30 and I thought ‘I don’t want to reach the end of my life and not be able to do a backflip’, if I don’t learn it now I’ll never be able to learn it,’ so I got on YouTube.”

Russell on his looks and being less fanciable than The Stig…
“I’m always on this thing they do in Heat magazine called ‘The top ten people you fancy but you hate to admit you fancy’, so king of the mingers essentially,” laughs Russell. “I’ve been beaten by Simon Cowell and I was beaten by The Stig – The Stig doesn’t even have a face.”

We actually turned over last night due to boredom.I didn’t know who Russell Howard was before the show and I’m not sure I want to know anything more about him. Has there ever been a less interesting guest?? And does Jonathan have to ask every mail guest about the joys of fatherhood or the potential thereof???
The quality of the music guests is about the only thing keeping this show relevant!
