Get Lost Anytime, Anywhere

Sky has announced details of the ultimate Lost viewing experience today, to coincide with the upcoming start of the new series on Sky One in the UK. Sky customers will now be able to follow their favourite characters on the mysterious lost Island wherever they are. For the first time Lost fans will be able to watch the action not only on TV, but also download full episodes on Sky Anytime on PC, as well as catch up on content on Sky.com, and watch clips from the series on their mobile phone via Sky Mobile TV.

In addition to being able to watch Lost, which is produced by ABC Studios, in a variety of ways, recent Sky+ and all Sky HD viewers will be able to watch the first two episodes of Series 4 via Sky Anytime on TV, 24 hours before they are broadcast on Sky One. The first episode will be available on Saturday 2 February and the second episode on Saturday 9 February.

Also for the first time, Sky Variety Mix customers will have the option of watching all the new episodes for free on Sky Anytime on PC. Each new episode will be available to download straight after it has been shown on Sky One and Sky One HD for a full 30 days.

To complete the Lost viewing experience, a Lost Special (Past, Present and Future) will be available on TV, PC and mobile. This special feature will take an in-depth look at the mysteries of both the island and its inhabitants and recap the secrets that have been revealed as well as those that have been left unanswered.

As a bonus to their core Sky subscription, customers will be able to watch the special from wherever they are; at home on Sky One or via Sky Anytime on TV; Sky Anytime on PC and on Sky Mobile TV for customers who have the Mobile TV Entertainment pack.

Griff Parry, Director, On-Demand, BSkyB, comments: “Innovative products and services such as Sky+, Sky HD and Sky Anytime have been created to give our customers more choice, control and flexibility in consuming the shows they love. When combined with outstanding content such as the new season of Lost, our customers really feel the benefit.

“In delivering content across multiple screens we are helping to liberate our customers viewing. If they can’t be there for the HD premier on Sunday, Sky+, Sky Anytime on PC and Sky Mobile TV will ensure they don’t miss a moment of the excitement”.

Tom Toumazis, executive vice president & managing director, Disney-ABC International Television EMEA and Canada added: “This partnership reiterates our commitment to working with global partners who have a strong presence in the new media space, to bring our must-see content to people in innovative, flexible ways, and enhance audiences’ viewing experience. We’re sure Lost’s many loyal fans in the UK will appreciate these extra options for enjoying this series.”
