Luke Goss (the guy from Bros) cast in Fringe season two!
This is weirder than weird. Luke Goss, one time half of pop duo Bros has been cast in the first episode of Fringe season two.
According to his own website, Goss will guest star in the season 2 premiere, A New Day In The Old Town, as a character named “Lloyd Parr.”

What so weird about Luke Goss in ‘Fringe’ he is a great actor, according to The LA Times they did everything they could to get him!

It looks like you have been in a cave for two decades! Luke is already famous as a ACTOR and has been since he stared in Blade II,Frankenstein, The Man, One Night With the King and recently Hellboy II; next movie to be released Tekken, Road to El Dorado. Luke is on location filming Witchville as we speak in China. Lisa McGarry please do some research before posting old info and even older video of Luke Goss. If you where on his site you would have seen all his project in last two decade.

I actually run Luke Official website and I can say if he had not done anything since Bros; his site would be pretty boring!!!! Luke was in Bros for 5 yrs he has been in movies a lot longer but it seems it is easier to bring up something Luke chose to walk away from; than report what a successful actor he has been for the past 9 years. I mean he has only done 29 films!!!!
It is true that Luke was a member of Bros for a minute, but has been acting for twice that amount of time and is an established actor with a plethora of works since that time in starring roles, no less. He gave it up and moved on and is the better for it. He is a star in my eyes!!!!!
Seems a shame to say “that guy from Bros” when referring to a dedicated actor who has worked steadily for the last 20 years. He’s been on stage, on TV, and in many films during that time, he has never tried to coast on his old Bros success. Granted, some of his bigger roles have been ones where he was under heavy make up (Blade II, Hellboy II), so it’s good to give a reference, but please, something a little more recent! Luke Goss is a terrific actor and an all around nice guy, don’t box him in with something he did 20 years ago when he’s been and done so much more since then!!
Luke Goss is a wonderfully talented actor. Knowing he’s in the premiere of Fringe is the reason I’ll be watching the show for the first time.
Where have you been the past 20 years? If you really knew anything about Luke’s work then you would know that the man has not stopped since his Bros days and has grown in popularity. Next time check your facts before you go trying to write a review and when you decide to again say ‘according to his website’ you may want to actually read what’s there first before you decide to type up more drivel!!!

if you bothered to spend a couple of minutes talking to the man. Yes man; he is no longer a boy of 17-22yrs of age. We all have the right to change our minds and our futures. He apparently did and has made a success of it.
Not certain why you are surprised by them actively seeking out Luke Goss for Fringe. It is a great show and he is hot! I have seen him in many movies. He was nominated for not one but two MTV awards, and has countless fab reviews for his movies. His filmography is impressive. He has built a solid list of credentials in movies with Eugene Levy, Samuel Jackson, Wesley Snipes, John Noble, Omar Sharif, John Rhys-Davies,and directors like Guillermo del Toro. Sorry that you are not in on the latest, but I have to agree with the others – you seem out of the loop. Luke Goss is hot!!!!!

Luke Goss is a talented and versatile actor and has been for many more years than he was a talented drummer/singer/songwriter . He made a change of career and a sucessfull one. May be this is what burns people up that you cant put this talented guy down cause he’ll just bounce back.

Personally I LOVE Luke Goss and follow his career avidly, but he is hardly a household name and those people who do know him will probably remember him in Bros than as an actor.
He has had a moderately successful career, but he’s hardly a top leading man.

Luke has been a successful actor for a while now. Bringing up something that he did a long time ago to try to make him look unsuccessful is easy, but it would be even easier to support the man that has been in 29 films, and treated everyone he has ever known with the respect they deserve. Maybe take a page from his playbook and keep it kind!!!!
Keep it kind girl! Luke is the nicest and most talented actor in the world. He doesn’t deserve such blog entries! Put mind in gear before opening mouth! Luke is a real treasure! I’ve never met an actor like him before!

WHY DO YOU SAY’ MODERATLEY SUCCESSFUL’ PEOPLE KNOW WHO ‘LUKE GOSS’ IS IN THE U.S.A HE HAS MANY MANY FANS FROM HIS WORK IN BLADE 2, HELLBOY 2, THE MAN AND FRANKENSTIEN. Agreed, it is good that Lisa McGarry has brought some attention to what Luke Goss is doing now, but if people want to write genuinely interesting ‘articles’ about him and not be heckled by fans, they should try to be original and NOT mention Bros.
Bros WAS 20 years ago. What about mentioning him starring in Charlie, a damn good movie…or Blade II…or One Night With The King…or HELLBOY II, for crying out loud!

Luke is a very talented actor and seems to be a nice guy!
It’s admirable how Luke Goss overcame his destroyed image after being in a famous boy band who was hyped up from the press first, later fell from grace totally. They had it all, then from one day to another they lost everything.
Instead of pitying himself, he started anew as an actor in theatre and musicals; since then he has constantly delivered great work as an actor with unbelievable charisma and feeling in his roles. In Hellboy 2, he totally rocked the audience despite being the villain and acting under heavy make-up! In interviews, he never even mentions that he was a member of Bros unless he is asked about it.
I am looking forward to every role he plays and hope he will make it BIG this time, he really deserves it. I will watch the Fringe premiere, definitely!!!
