We feel like we’ve been talking about the GRAMMYs for months now but it’s actually here, well almost. This Sunday marks the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards live from Los Angeles.
With a list of big name performers as long as our arms another huge name has been added in the form of seven-time GRAMMY award winner Madonna.
Madonna will join Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Lorde, Robin Thicke, Daft Punk and more at the annual awards ceremony which celebrates the best in music.
Other acts previously announced include P!nk and Nate Ruess, Sara Bareilles, Pharrell Williams, Imagine Dragons, John Legend and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
It was also revealed that joining Daft Punk (including Pharrell Williams) on stage would be none other than Stevie Wonder and Chic’s Nile Rodgers.
Speculation surrounding Ringo Starr and Sir Paul McCartney was cleared up by Starr earlier in the week who stated that the duo would not be performing at the GRAMMYs.
Instead would be performing the following night at an event honouring The Beatles – though the pair will be in attendance at the GRAMMYs to collect the lifetime achievement award.
LL COOL J will return as the host for the 56th Annual GRAMMYs which will be televised on the CBS network live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles this Sunday (26th of January) from 8pm (ET/PT).
