Make Me a Virgin provides a fascinating insight into a group of people who believe that sex is so important that you shouldn’t have it, unless you’re married. Ex-evangelical Christian and documentary film maker Jamie Campbell investigates the claim that more and more teenagers are holding onto their virginity as a reaction against the sex-obsessed culture of our times.

He travels to the US to make a promotional video for the new UK headquarters of the Silver Ring Thing , an American organisation promoting sexual abstinence, whose young Christian members strictly follow the rules of no sex before marriage. Jamie returns to the UK with his faith challenged and confronts the Silver Ring Thing with his findings. Make Me a Virgin is part of Channel 4’s Virgin Season.
