Man Accused Of Selling Lipstick Jungle Props On eBay
A stage manager has been charged with stealing $30,000 of designer bags and clothing from the television show “Lipstick Jungle” and trying to sell them on eBay.
Arthur Moreira, 27 was arrested on Friday after policemen posed as buyers of his goods which included 16 coats, bags and suits by Prada, Gucci, Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana.
Arthur might just have gotten away with his scheme if he had stuck to clothes, however an employee of Paris fashion designer Sylvia Toledano spotted a crystal-encrusted clutch that had been loaned to the show on eBay and tipped off the police.
