Matt Smith reveals eclectic TV taste and check out the video clips of Doctor Who Christmas special filming in Bristol
You would never guess it from watching him on Doctor Who, apparently but Matt Smith loves reality TV.
The British actor has revealed that he loves nothing more than watching MTV reality TV show Geordie Shore, which is well known for being full of smut and raunchy scenes.
Speaking to Entertainmentwise’s Georgie Barrat at the premiere of the first episode of the new Doctor Who series, Matt, revealed that he loves watching the antics of the cast as they live their lives in Newcastle.
He explained:
“I love Geordie Shore”, Matt quipped, before reiterating: “I absolutely love Geordie Shore!”
He added that he even has favourite characters, revealing:
“Gaz and Charlotte, I like. Get together guys!”
His taste turns out to be quite eclectic and the 29 year old actor said:
“I like Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad is what I love to watch the most and Geordie Shore and Football.”
Doctor Who film crews yesterday set up shop in Corn Street, Bristol, as they prepared to shoot the show’s Christmas Special.
The area was transformed into a winter wonderland ahead of the night sequence, which was filmed yesterday.
Corn Street took on a “turn of the century” feel, with barrels and cars being wheeled down the road.
In the dark scenes, the Doctor apparently had a strong reaction to new companion Clara and ran away from her.
Luckily for us, some Doctor Who fans turned up and actually filmed a little scene. Check out the videos and let us know what you think in the comments section below…

It was Corn Street, BRISTOL, not Birmingham. Filming then moved to Portland Square in Bristol.
