McBusted want to be the first to record a music video in space

McBusted only formed last month and now with a massive 2014 tour of the UK of more than 30 dates they’re already looking to the future.

It seems like the boys are so overwhelmed by the support from all the fans that they’re literally seeing stars and can’t quite take it all in.

McBusted (the supergroup of McFly and Busted) want to try and make history and become the first band to shoot a music video in space.

No we’ve not been near the Christmas sherry but Danny Jones of McFly spoke with Digital Spy and told them that they would like to get a spot on the Virgin Galactic flight.

Then once they’re up in space they’d love to use the time to work on a project while they’re there.

Danny said: “We want to do the first music video in space. McBusted can record their first ever one on a Virgin Galactic.”

It has already been revealed that pop superstar Lady Gaga is set to be the first artist to sing in space as she teams up with the Virgin Galactic in 2015 to give an out of this world performance (see what we did there).

Lady Gaga spoke about the opportunity last month and explained: “I did not buy a ticket. My ticket was given to me. I was asked specifically to sing.”

“So I’m going to be the first recording artist to sing in space. And I did not purchase my flight. This is a special festival event held by Zero G Colony and I will be flying to space two months after the first commercial flights take off.”

Meanwhile for McBusted while they’ve announced more than 30 tour dates for next year they also revealed the news of a headline slot at London’s Hyde Park with special guests the Backstreet Boys.
