TV presenter, Melanie Sykes has revealed that she once turned down the chance to star opposite Pierce Brosnan as a Bond Girl.

Mel was asked to try out for the role during Brosnan’s last Bond movie but didn’t follow it up as she was in a new relationship at the time.

Melanie told She, on sale on Wednesday: “I didn’t even go to the meeting!

“I’d just started going out with Daniel and I didn’t think it was right for me to be kissing Pierce Brosnan.”

The 38-year-old, who has recently separated from her husband, told the magazine: “I won’t get married again. When I married Daniel I believed it was for life.

“But there’s no reason for me to do it again.”

The mother-of-two said the idea of having another relationship was “not a priority”.
