Michael Jayston & Matthew Bose Leave Emmerdale
Emmerdale actors, Michael Jayston and Matthew Bose have announced their decision to leave the ITV soap.
Business tycoon Donald de Souza (Michael Jayston) and gay barman Paul Lambert (Matthew Bose) will leave the soap at the end of the year.
An insider told The Mirror: “It’s not the same since the hierarchy changed ten months ago. Morale has never been so bad. If it was Corrie or EastEnders they would be gone by now.”
An Emmerdale spokesman confirmed their departure, but added: “The suggestion that any members of cast are leaving due to low morale is ludicrous.”
