Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow
Sell-out stand-up comedian Michael McIntyre is to host a brand new series for BBC One where he takes to the road visiting well-known venues around the UK, showcasing the very best in stand-up.
Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow will feature both up and coming stand-up acts as well as established artists who will headline each show.
The series of six half hours will be hosted by Michael from venues in Edinburgh, Belfast, Manchester, Cardiff, Brighton and Newcastle.
Mark Linsey, Controller, BBC Entertainment Commissioning, said: “Michael is a rising star and we’re delighted that, following the success of Live At The Apollo, he’s taking stand-up out on the road for us to showcase the very best in established and brand new comedy acts.”

I went to the Manchester Apollo show on Monday.
I thoroughly enjoyed every second of the show; the acts that Michael introduced were very funny, but most importantly Michael himself was extremely hilarious, I am a big fan of him and think he is by far the best comedian in the industry. The way he jokes about everyday things and the way he does it absolutely crack’s me up.

Saw the comedy roadshow in birmingham on Sunday – really great – one comedian -other than Mr Mac was an american guy called Tom …….. something – unfortunately, due to the appreciation noise levels we kept missing his surname. He had me and my friends literally crying with laughter – if anyone can confirm this guys name i will be truly grategul. Cheers
Saw his show last night in Belfast and it was absolutely hilarious, I would highly recommend going to see him if you can, I never laughed as much in all my life, Jeff Green was especially hilarious, this show is not to be missed!!

Loved the show at Belfast. Michael is top notch as host and act. Loved all the others except Paddy Kielty. He needs a new job, tumbleweed crossed the stage a few times as being crude and offensive is not humourous. Fritzl jokes are not on! Or sick impressions of michael j fox.
Oh David couldn’t agree more, we left about 20 minutes after Paddy Kielty started he just wasn’t funny at all, feb up of jokes about ‘the troubles’ they aren’t funny anymore, thought your man Jeff Green was absolutely hilarious, he was on before Kielty, never laughed so much in my life it was brilliant, glad you had a good night too

Absolutely brilliant in Swansea – ( the above info says Cardiff … it was Swansea! ! ) All the acts I saw were worth seeing though Michael McIntyre stood head and shoulders above them all.
