We all know that vampires don’t die and Mick St.John is the perfect example. His show may have been cancelled last year but Alex O’Loughlin who played St. John is following in the footsteps of David Boreanaz and moving on to an all new primetime TV show.

Alex is all set to play a doctor in the pilot of new medical drama ‘Three Rivers.’ The show tries to buck the trend of all other medical shows before it, by concentrating on the process of organ donations and its effects on the patients, families and doctors involved.

O’Loughlin will play Dr. Andy Yablonski, the head of the team of organ donor transplants who is separated from his wife and lives in a motel near the hospital.
