Miley Cyrus says she won’t take interference from management because she knows what people want to hear

Long gone is the girl next door image that Miley Cyrus once displayed. She’s all grown up and she’s not afraid to let the world know it.

From her performance at this years MTV VMAs to her controversial music video for ‘Wrecking Ball’ where she straddles a wrecking ball practically naked. She’s all grown up but her fans still love her regardless.

Miley Cyrus is currently number 1 in the UK with both her single ‘Wrecking Ball’ and album ‘Bangerz’ and is the first artist to achieve this in 2013.

The 20 year old has revealed in an interview with Hunger magazine that she’ll continue to be in control of her own career without any outside interference from her management. Her reason? She knows what people her age want to hear.

In the interview with the magazine she said:

“With magazines, with movies, it’s always weird when things are targeted for young people yet they’re driven by people that are like 40-years too old…┬áIt can’t be like this 70-year-old Jewish man that doesn’t leave his desk all day, telling me what the clubs want to hear.”

The ‘Wrecking Ball’ star also added that it’s important to stay relevant and continue to be modern which is something she can do better herself than with a team of bosses telling her what to do or say:

“I’m going out, I know what they want to hear. I know when you’re in a club, what makes everyone go crazy and when the time is where everyone’s like, ‘All right, I’m going go get a drink’.”

“I know when people walk off the dance floor and I know what’s driving it, so I’ve got to be the one doing it because they’re just not in on what 20-year-olds are doing.”
