Devoted followers of Friends, such as myself, are still mourning the passing of a truly great show, which was in its own way somewhat groundbreaking as well seriously funny…

However, though it’s gone, it most certainly not forgotten and today it’s been revealed that in a poll conducted by Kleenex, the episode in which Monica Geller and Chandler Bing got married is the ‘most likely’ to have us Brits in tears.

The two-parter, which was entitled, The One with Monica and Chandler’s Wedding, saw not only Monica (Courteney Cox) and Chandler (Matthew Perry) of course marry, but it also was the setting for the big Rachel’s pregnant reveal.

However, the most touching moments of the episode, according to the survey, came when Monica and Chandler made their vows.

Monica said, “Chandler, for so long I wondered if I would ever find my prince, my soul mate…

“And now here we are with our future before us and I only want to spend it with you, my prince, my soulmate, my friend.”

She of course then added, “Unless you don’t want to…”

Chandler though of course replied, “Monica, I though this was going to be the most difficult thing I ever had to do.

“But when I saw you walking down that aisle, I realized how simple it was. I love you.”

With a whopping 65% of the poll’s respondents admitting to blubbing throughout the episode, in a close second place was Scott and Charlene’s wedding in Neighbours, followed by Alice and Hugo’s mental wedding in Vicar of Dibley.
