Earlier this year, The Travel Channel in the US invited the Most Haunted team - led by presenter Yvette Fielding and psychic David Wells - over the pond to take their paranormal investigation to The Eastern State Penitentiary, a former state prison in Pennsylvania built in the 1820’s-30’s.
Armed with night-vision cameras and thermal-imaging devices, the Most Haunted team performs a thorough investigation of the location and attempt communication with the paranormal.ry reported mysterious visions and eerie experiences in the ancient prison. The ghost sightings have only increased since Eastern State was abandoned in 1971.
As early as the 1940s, officers and inmates of the Eastern State Penitentiatate was abandoned in 1971.
The MH team have been allowed extensive access to the location, including areas that are not currently open to the public.
