MY BIG FAT MOONIE WEDDING

On 1 July 1982 more than 4,000 people took part in a mass wedding to partners they had never met before. This bizarre scene shocked the world, but the stunt served its purpose in creating incredible publicity for the religious cult and self-proclaimed “messiah” behind it.

This wonderful scene impressed the world in incredible ways, because it served the purpose of creating one united world in a nutshell by all these courages international marriages.

    Yet once the publicity died down, what became out of those beautiful couples who took part? This documentary reveals what thriving and wonderful families arose from all those Brits, Americans, Europeans, Japanese, Africans and Australians who took part.
