TV presenter, Myleene Klass has set her sights on America and is hoping to forge a career for herself across the atlantic.

Myleene was offered a big bucks show on MTV last year, but turned it down because of her commitments to the BBC and Last Choir Standing.

The former Hear’Say singer told The Sun: “I was absolutely gutted I had to turn it down. I mean MTV!

“But I had Last Choir Standing on the go and my agent said to me, ‘You just can’t even consider it at the moment.’

“Working for CNN has opened the door to America for me. I love doing it, I get to go all over the world and report on different things so it’s amazing MTV tapped into what I do and fingers crossed it’s still in the pipeline for me.

“America is a huge market and I’d love to work over there.

“MTV is the perfect opportunity because I love music and I love TV.”
