It’s almost time for the 2014 National Television Awards where everyone from the world of TV comes together for one night to celebrate the best on the small screen.

Back in September the full list of nominations was revealed and now the shortlist is here so we’ve gone from having every name you can think of, to the key nominees for each category.

The winners for the 2014 National Television Awards will be revealed on Wednesday the 22nd January from 7:30pm.

The ceremony, which is held at London’s O2 Arena will air on ITV and will be hosted by X Factor’s Dermot O’Leary.
