Neil Morrissey has decided to quit TV after 25 years in the business.

The actor, best known for his role in Men Behaving Badly says that the job is “more pain than fun” these days.

“Acting has been good to me,” he told The Mirror. “But a lot of what I do now is nothing more than factory television, more pain than fun.

“I find running a pub to be far more challenging, much more creative.”

Neil now intends to turn his focus onto a 17th century Yorkshire pub which he recently bought.

Let’s face it, as the Bob The Builder franchise continues to trundle on, its not like Neil is going to be short of money any time soon!
