Fans of popular original Netflix series ‘Orange Is The New Black’ are eagerly awaiting the return of the show for its third season.

‘Orange Is The New Black’ or ‘OITNB’ as its often abbreviated follows the life of inmates at Litchfield Penitentiary and how they cope with life behind bars.

The show focuses mainly around Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) and how she goes from a life of luxury, doing what she wants, when she wants to a life of following strict rules behind bars.

If you haven’t seen the show then we really would urge you to check it out, both the first and second seasons are available on Netflix.

Other than Piper the show is full of some of the best TV characters we’ve seen, as each have their own backstory, unique personality and we really can’t find anyone we loathe which is interesting.

For season three though it’s been confirmed that actress Marsha Stephanie Blake has joined the cast of the show as a correctional officer at Litchfield.

The Hollywood Reporter first learned of the news, but for now details regarding Blake’s character are being kept top secret. However we do know her character will be recurring throughout the season.

Blake has a long list of credits including ‘Girls’ and ‘Django Unchained’, and will be a welcome addition to the hit show.

Season three of ‘Orange Is The New Black’ will also welcome other new faces played by Mike Birbiglia, Mary Steenburgen and Blair Brown, but any and all details about their characters are being kept secret as well.

A return date for the third season of ‘Orange Is The New Black’ has yet to be confirmed but we imagine it will land at some point in 2015.
