New series of Prison Break sees much lower viewing figures – again

Prison Break Season Three

Prison Break, which returned to Sky1 on Tuesday night, achieved “disappointing” viewing figures according to ratings experts Attentional.

The show has been off air since the last season finale in December which drew 318,000 viewers but the year before, the series had around 476,000 viewers during the 16-episode season.

Attentional provides data regarding viewing figures and on the same night as the new season of Prison Break aired, the new BBC3 series, Bizarre ER, had viewing figures of 414,000 and 756,000 of us tuned in to Shameless…

So will the ever decreasing viewing figures both here in the UK and in America mean this could be the last season of Prison Break, and if it did, would you be sorry to see it go?

I would be very sorry to see it go. I’ve followed it from the very start and I think that one of the reasons the viewing figures are going down from last year is because they brought the brother’s mother back. I think though that if the people who were disappointed in this knew how evil they made Christina then they may tune in again. =D

They could always leave the series for a year and see how many people miss it, if there’s enough then they can bring it back.

I would seriously miss this show though if it was permantly cancelled.
