Nico & Vinz set to soar to the top of the Official Singles Chart this week with ‘Am I Wrong’

The Official Charts Company have released information regarding the Official Singles Chart and who is heading to the top of the charts going into Sunday.

Unlike the albums chart it’s all change once again as Norwegian singing/songwriting duo Nico & Vinz soar to the top to claim the Number (1) spot.

Nico & Vinz aren’t strangers to the Official Charts Company as they became the first track in history to reach the Top 75 on the Official Singles Chart based on streams alone last month.

Since officially being released the track has continued to climb the charts and slowly but surely and at this midweek stage their single ‘Am I Wrong’ is sitting at Number (1).

The track has already found success across the world and has entered the Top 10 in around 19 countries including Germany, Australia and in America.

This means that last week’s number one ‘Rude’ by Magic! falls into Number (2) at this midweek stage while it’s good news for OneRepublic.

OneRepublic look set to score their sixth UK Top 40 hit this weekend with ‘Love Runs Out’ which is at Number (3) and follows their smash hit ‘Counting Stars’ which reached number one in 2013.

Cheryl’s former chart topper featuring Tinie Tempah ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ is at Number (4) while ‘Budapest’ by George Ezra climbs one place into Number (5).

At Number (7) falling four places is ZHU is ‘Faded’ and the Official Charts Company have reported there are two other new entries including Nico & Vinz (1) and OneRepublic (3).

Jessie Ware is set to score her first ever single in the Top 40 with ‘Tough Love’ which is currently at Number (22).

The track is the lead single to be lifted from her second studio album of the same name. For Maroon 5 they climb 26 places to Number (25) with ‘It Was Always You’.
