No More Swearing From Jamie Oliver!

According to today’s Daily Mail, TV chef Jamie Oliver’s swear words will be cut from all his future programmes.
Jamie has recently been heavily criticised for his frequent use of profanities during his shows and so his programme’s producers have said that they intend to edit out any swearing.
A recent episode of Jamie’s Ministry Of Food apparently featured the ‘F word’ no less then 23 times so in response to complaints, Zoe Collins – boss of Fresh One Productions, which is owned by Jamie and which produces his programmes – has said she would be “much more mindful” about Jamie’s on-air swearing.
She told the newspaper, “I am concerned if the swearing in the programmes we are making is affecting people’s enjoyment of those programmes, and going forward we will be much more mindful of that.”
But will it detract from Jamie’s on-air persona? Time will tell.

if the shows produces are editing out swearing it will be cause they want to maximise there audiance and must have decided that the middle ages middle englanders might not like it and that demographic is important to them. they have not decided to edit jamie out of some moral sense of duty. i would rather not ;listen to swearing myself, i listen to enough swearing thtroughout the rest of my life, its nice to watch someone cook a meal, i dont need to have his sweaing to listen to, while he does it. i like cookery shows and would watch jamie whatever, but it will make the show better for me if he is the cheeky chappy happy go lucky cook he was when i 1st started watching him
