NOEL GALLAGHER, MICHAEL SHEEN & MIRANDA HART ON TONIGHT’S JONATHAN ROSS SHOW

by Lisa McGarry

Noel Gallagher talks about his relationship with brother Liam, whether Oasis will re-unite for the anniversary of What’s The Story Morning Glory, and how he feels about the Stone Roses being back together…plus Miranda Hart gives Jonathan a fright!

Noel Gallagher on his fall out with Liam:

“The sad thing is we’re both reasonable guys,” says Noel. “I don’t know why we don’t get on, we just don’t and we should be thankful for that.”

“The way it ended was horrible. He threw fruit at me. Once the fruit basket has been tampered with…”

Jonathan says that he’s read Liam wants to re-unite in 2015 for the anniversary of What’s The Story Morning Glory.

“I don’t believe he said that,” says Noel.

Jonathan pushes on them re-uniting.

“It would be nice but we’re not together anymore. You don’t go on holiday with your ex-wife do you?”

Noel explains that he bumped into Damon Albarn in a club recently.

“We had a beer together and it was a relief,” admits Noel.

Jonathan asks if he would collaborate with Damon.

“I’m single and I’m ready to mingle – musically speaking of course.”

Noel on the Stone Roses re-uniting:

“The reason we formed a band and the reason we-re sitting here is because of them,” says Noel. “It was a real nice feeling, seeing them together again. I’m made up for them.”

Jonathan asks if he would perform on stage with them.

“If I’m asked, I’ll consider it.”

Miranda Hart is also on the show and, as she’s known for being clumsy in her sitcom Miranda, she and Jonathan set up a meal whereby things go wrong in true Miranda style. What Jonathan doesn’t expect is for Miranda to smash a glass over his head.
