NOEL’S HQ: People Power!!!
Noel Edmonds hosts a one-off live 90-minute entertainment special designed to inspire, encourage and empower every viewer to make an immediate and enduring contribution to life in Britain. Noel’s HQ, Sunday 14 September at 7.00pm on Sky1 and Sky1 HD.
Noel’s HQ is a response to the growing frustration being felt by millions who see their nation changing for the worse and their communities – and therefore lives – changing forever. Everyday random acts of kindness are few and far between. Noel’s HQ aims to prove that a sense of community and generosity are not dead, and will address some of the burning issues facing society today. Noel Edmonds comments: “Millions of us are now deeply unsettled, hugely frustrated and frequently frightened by the disturbing changes that are occurring in the heart of our communities and throughout our once great nation. This show on its own cannot hope to solve all the problems, but we can attempt to inspire, encourage and empower those who really do wish to create a more caring society.”
Noel’s HQ will combine feel-good with doing good and will attempt to change people’s lives forever. Through local projects and nationwide campaigns, from light-hearted stories investigating ‘Bonkers Britain’ to heart-warming stories of generosity and bravery, Noel’s HQ will attempt to inspire significant social change across Britain.
Noel added: “Noel’s HQ is potentially the most significant show I have ever presented in over 40 years in broadcasting because we will entertain but also inspire. We are empowering the viewer to make an immediate and lasting difference – not by giving money, but by the giving of themselves. Our future is in our hands and we must stop blaming somebody else for the problems. We also must accept that politicians can’t fix matters and recognise that it’s up to all of us to live less selfish lives and make Britain great again. Or to put it another way – if you’re not part of the solution, you are the problem.”
NOEL’S HQ will aim to prove that TV can really effect change and answer some of today’s key questions:
* How can we turn our young people away from violence and anti-social behaviour?
* Who are the faceless, unelected busybodies who are turning us into ‘Grey Britain’?
* Why are we now so overburdened with so many rules, regulations and new laws?
* Why have we become such a hard-hearted, uncaring and cynical society?
Noel added: “If we all do a little I think we can really have a significant effect. This show is not going to change society, but it’s a tiny step in the right direction. It’s up to all of us to make Britain great again. I just hope that everybody will watch and get involved.”
Noel’s HQ, Sunday 14 September at 7.00pm, only on Sky1 and Sky1 HD.

Well Done Noel – hope I can get this on my TV!

I saw a Noel Edmonds interview on TV this morning…… funnily enough going on about his self titled programme. here are the crusades he is embarking upon.
1/ He is complaining about service men/women and their lack of resources…. Can I ask what are you going to do about it Noel? Give your fortune to the poor MOD to buy equipment? or are you going to get money out of your poor viewers? Or, are you going to take over the countries’ budget? why not slash NHS spending on cancer treatments to buy better equipment for them? Is that not why we have politicians; who are voted in?
2/TV licenses. Apparently Noel has cancelled his TV license because he hates the way the nasty BBC actually have the cheek to ASK for money that you owe them!! I also expect the BBC to send a box of chocolates and a nice hand written card when it comes to renewal time.
How do they think they can get away with it. Actually Noel; why don’t you cancel all of you direct debits? The cheek!
3/ Broken Britain. You solve it from your mansion – Noel. You’re my hero!
I think its wonderful what you are doing keep up the good work lets hope withen time we can all come together and be a happy world instead of all the voilence well done for reackonising whats wrong with the world today lets just hope and prey that when my children are older they will all reunited in being one big family once again well done.
