O no! Janine and Michael’s baby girl to face a fight for life when she’s born three months early!
Inside Soap magazine have revealed that Janine Malloy is to give birth to her baby girl three months early, and the baby will then face a fight for her life as she’s rushed to a special care unit.
Janine is of course set to marry Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd) soon, and will in fact go into labour during the wedding ceremony, but so far, EastEnders bosses are staying tight-lipped about whether Janine and Michael actually end up married or not.
But of the premature birth of their daughter, a show insider said, ”This is every mother’s worst nightmare. Janine’s terrified…
“She fears all the stress surrounding her wedding has brought on labour…
“It’ll be touch and go whether the baby can make it.’
”The big mystery is whether Janine and Michael tie the knot before Janine goes into labour.
“Janine has Ricky and Diane – her brother and sister [who are played by Sid Owen and Sophie Lawrence] – by her side. They’re both back in Walford for the wedding.
“So at least she has some family around her.”
Janine is of course played by Charlie Brooks, who recently announced that she’s taking a few months off from the show to go on a European road trip with her daughter.

Thats such a misleading title! Janines baby is actually 29 weeks old therefore that equates to Janine delivering her baby 2 months 3 weeks early….
Plus another blooper ~ on tonights episode Michael & Janine were married but the registrar Said Michael Moon & Janine BUTCHER even though she is actually called Janine Malloy.
