Hollyoaks’ biggest loser, OB will be exiting the show after a staggering 10 years on the soap. Hands up who feels old now? Do you remember when OB first appeared on the show?
Darren Jeffries is the actor who plays OB, and he feels that it’s time to leave the show and concentrate on other opportunities. Hopefully he won’t find himself typecast as a village idiot.
I wonder what OB’s exit story will be. Hmmm. Something - a girl, money, blowing up Max’s house with fireworks - will come between him and Max. The two will alternate between sulking and rowing for approximately 3 months until a scuffle leaves one of them in a coma. Eventually, OB will realise that his friendship with Max is fractured beyond repair and will leave Chester forever. With that thick, sulky look on his face, no doubt.
Yes, I could have been a Hollyoaks scriptwriter in another life. Anybody else want to guess how OB’s exit will happen? His final scenes go out at the end of February 2008.
