Michael C hall has confirmed what we all suspected but secretly dread, Dexter can’t last forever.

In an interview with E!, Michael conceded:

“It can’t last forever, The show is like a shark. It has to keep moving forward. And if it runs out of things to eat it’s going to die.”

While I know that’s true and feasibly you can’t really have serial killer with a load of near misses who never gets caught out, I dread the day when Dexter ends. It is such an intelligent show, built on a premise that shouldn’t work. I never would have expected to like a serial killer, to hope he makes a good dad and to hope he defeats those who try to expose him. But I do, I really do.
