At this years V Festival Olly Murs had a chat with MTV News. The star who has recently been on tour with Robbie Williams revealed a list of artists that he would like to collaborate with.
Olly revealed to MTV News that his collaboration wish list includes the likes of McFly, Lawson, Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow.
The Essex lad who found fame from the 2009 X Factor and came in second place has gone on to release three hit albums with a fourth on the way.
Murs has had a number of his enter the charts including debut single Please Don’t Let Me Go, Troublemaker which featured Flo Rida, Heart Skips A Beat featuring those Rizzle Kicks lads and most recently Army of Two.
The former presenter of The Xtra Factor shows no sign of slowing down and things seem to be moving a steady place for the 29 year old cheeky chap from Essex.
Speaking with MTV News Olly said: “I’ve spoken to the McFly lads, I’d like to jump into studio with them. Maybe jump in with the Lawson boys as well.”
After his recent tour with Robbie Williams Olly has also got him contemplating a duet with X Factor judge Gary Barlow: “I’ve been talking to Robbie about my next album… I’d love to do stuff with Gary.”
Murs is due to release his fourth studio album soon and has said he’s got plenty of ideas for it: “I’m just gonna mix and match, just try different things out.”
“Because when you’re writing you never know, something might just come out of the blue and you might write amazing songs, and sometimes it just takes some random session to make that happen.”
