Ooo! We know who attacks Cain Dingle in Emmerdale!

And Joanna Page on her ‘hero’ hubby James Thornton

Yes it’s true, we know who it is who attacks Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) in tonight’s Judgement Day episode of Emmerdale!

However, we aren’t allowed to tell you because ITV want to keep it a secret of course, so that the outcome is a surprise for viewers, but I can reveal that it’s a shocker when you find out who it was!

The top suspects are of course John Barton (James Thornton) and/or his unfaithful wife Moira (Natalie J Robb), Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) and/or Charity Tate (Emma Atkins), as well as Amy Wyatt (Chelsea Halfpenny) who has of course just given birth to Cain’s baby, and Cain’s dad Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell).

However, it could of course turn out to be somebody right out of left field!

Also making Emmerdale news today is Joanna Page – former Gavin and Stacey star – who has revealed that her husband James Thornton, who as mentioned above plays farmer John Barton, saved their dog’s life recently, but risked his own.

The couple were walking their dog Daisy on the banks of the River Aire, when she slipped into the fast moving water, and it looked like she would be swept away by the strong current.

Joanna told the Daily Mirror that when James leaped in to save Daisy, “I honestly thought he was going to die.”

She added, “It could have been an episode from Emmerdale. James ripped his trainers off and did a full-on dive into the water.

“Luckily he caught Daisy but couldn’t swim against the current. They were both swept away.

“I was running along the top of the river, screaming.”

However, though James and Daisy escaped the water, for James, there were repercussions as he developed ulcers through swallowing the dirty river water and had to be hospitalized soon afterwards.

But as of course we know, he fully recovered, however, he is about to leave Emmerdale so that he can spend more time with Joanna, and presumably, Daisy!

Don’t forget to tune in to Emmerdale tonight to see the Judgement Day attack!
