Parent organisation ‘One Million Moms’ has called for viewers to boycott Disney Channel show, Good Luck Charlie over the introduction of two gay mothers.

Recently on the January 28 episode of the show, Susan and Cherl were unveiled as Taylor’s two mothers as he was invited over to Charlie’s house for a playdate.

And this is why some children will grow up with the wool over their eyes because their parents won’t allow them to see what’s actually happening in the real world…

The organisation has made it pretty clear that it feels that it isn’t acceptable for the Disney Channel to have made such a step as it doesn’t provide “family-friendly programming” and the channel should be entertaining, not “pushing an agenda”.

The organisation, which looks like it’s aimed at the ignorant, released the following statement: “Disney has decided to be politically correct instead of providing family-friendly programming.

“Disney should stick to entertaining, not pushing an agenda. Conservative families need to urge Disney to avoid controversial topics that Children are far too young to comprehend.

“This is the last place a parent would expect their children to be confronted with topics that are too difficult for them to understand. Mature issues of this nature are being introduced too early and too soon, and it is extremely unnecessary.”

Prior to producing the episode, Disney reportedly consulted with child development experts and advisors and steps were taken to introduce the characters in a gentle way.

A rep said that the show was “developed to be relevant to kids and families around the world and to reflect themes of diversity and inclusiveness”.

Now, one doesn’t need to wonder why so many children are ignorant to such situations these days.

Do you agree with the organisations sentiments or do you think it’s absolutely ridiculous?
