Paris Jackson Speaks At Dads Memorial Service
Two days ago we couldn’t have picked Paris Jackson out of a lineup, today she spoke to millions of people at her dads memorial service.
Michael Jackson’s memorial service was moving from the moment his brothers wheeled his casket into the auditorium. It became even more sad, as close friends Brooke Shields and Stevie Wonder paid very personal tributes to the musical legend. However the most heartbreaking moment came at the end of the two hour ceremony, when Paris Jackson took the mic.
She didn’t say very much, but it was a statement that she may be forced to repeat for many years:
“I’d just like to say that from the day I was born he was the best daddy I every could have wished for…”
At that point I realised that this little girl and her two brothers will most likely spend future decades defending their father and explaining their upbringing, answering to people that really have no business intruding upon their privacy. In her brief and emotional statement Paris touched the hearts of millions of people, anyone who watched that moment and didn’t cry is a stronger person than me.

His daughter is so cute. It’s so sad that she is that young and lost her father. I watched her speak and it was so sad and touched millions of peoples hearts. I feel so bad for her and her brothers. And Michael Jackson needs to be left alone because even though he made bad choices in life he is still a person. Michael Jackson is the King of Pop and forever will be and he will never be forgotten!!!
I cried like a baby and I pray this family is left alone and respected from here on out.
