Patrick Swayze dies from pancreatic cancer
Patrick Swayze has died from pancreatic cancer, aged 57.
The Dirty Dancing star died yesterday, surrounded by his family.
Patrick was first diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2008 and fought the disease aggressively.
He continued to film US TV show The Beast was also part way through writing a memoir with wife Lisa Niemi when he died.
“Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,” said his publicist Annett Wolf in a statement released to The AP.
