Paul O’Grady cries during Buster memorial show
Paul O’Grady lost his beloved dog Buster last week. The fourteen year old dog was put to sleep after battling cancer for many months.
On Paul’s Channel 4 chat show last night, he broke down in tears as he introduced a montage of clips of Buster’s TV career. He said: “Wherever you are kid, you are gone but not forgotten!”

sorry to hear Buster had died he was a real star. I have recently lost one of my cats and I was devastated so I know how you feel. I also have a dog and they are all precious to me. I think you are marvellous you can really tell you have a love of animals.

I felt so sad for Paul I met him once years ago and he was really down to earth not starry at all and he stood for ages signing autographs. I was in tears myself when he broke down yesterday as I remember Buster from the early day sxx

My Husband showed me the story about Buster in the paper.I had a cry he was such a big part of the show and your life.Thinking of you at this sad time.My sister in law and husband had to have there 8 year old Leonberg put down earlier this year.So we all have some idea of how you are feeling it is devasting. Dear Paul, I was so very sad to hear that Buster had died and shall miss seeing him on your wonderful show so very much. I know how you feel, having lost my darling little Yorkie, Rosie, 18 months ago. I thought the tribute was so lovely but it did make me cry all the way through. I send you love and hugs and hope it comforts you to know how much all your fans loved your beloved little friend. Buster is now cuddled up with Brendan and they will both be watching over you and comforting eachother.

Lost my gorgeous cat Charlie 3 weeks ago (some creton knocked her down & drove on) So I know the devastion, heartbreak & emptiness this leaves… I still wake up in the morning and go 2 stroke Charlie & its only when I feel the cover & no cat that it hits me again….. its amazing how attached we get 2 these wonderful trusting pets….
Please send me a noddin Buster (as ive just heard u say uve only 2 left) r an Olga… this will sit in my car in place of my gorgeous Charlie….

Paul… I am so so sorry about buster. I feel for you so much. my little westie..molly died at 14 yrs old in my arms two yrs ago and I still greive for her so much.
