Paul O’Grady presented his final Channel 4 chat show last night and looked genuinely sad to be leaving. Have a watch of the clip above and see all the celebrities and stars that showed up to bid him farewell.

As the credits came on, Paul asked producers to turn down the music and said:

“This has been the best job in my life. I’ve been through a lot.

“My partner and dog dying, two heart attacks, becoming a grandad! I’ve been through so much but I have to thank you, my audience – you got me through.”
