The multi-award-winning and critically acclaimed hit comedy starring David Mitchell and Robert Webb continues its new fourth series. Mark (Mitchell) is still having doubts about marrying Sophie (Olivia Colman), so joins a gym in order to spend as much time away from her as possible. Unfortunately his personal trainer Matt (James Carlton) takes exercise extremely seriously, and wants to get Mark really, really fit. Mark can’t keep up with the vigorous training programme, and almost pukes on the exercise bike.

Meanwhile, Jeremy (Webb) learns that his ex-Visa-wife, the beautiful Nancy (Rachel Blanchard) has started working at the gym. Desperate to get back with her, he gets a job as a cleaner. Foolishly, Mark confides in Matt that he’s been having doubts about his wedding. From then on, Matt constantly asks him about Sophie and what he is going to do about the wedding. Then, when Nancy tells Jeremy she fancies Matt, Jeremy and Mark realise they both have one thing in common: they have to get rid of Matt. They hurriedly concoct a desperate plan to get Matt sacked from the gym.
