Beyoncé is set to release her forthcoming fifth studio album at some point this year and the superstar has already offered up previews in a Pepsi commercial.

From what we know the album was mostly recorded in 2012 and features production from Missy Elliott, Justin Timberlake Timbaland, The-Dream, Pharrell and Justin Timberlake.

Pharrell Williams, who recently has become a household name after featuring on Daft Punk’s ‘Random Access Memories’ has discussed Beyoncé’s new album and has offered up some rare information.

Pharrell recently had an interview with and spoke about the album and said that Beyoncé will release it when the time is right.

In the interview with he said that everyone who has heard it so far has been really impressed and called it “crazy”:

“B’s album is crazy…She’s very particular. She’s a Virgo. And she’s not going to put it out until it’s ready and feels like it’s right to her. She’s got a very specific taste.”

“I guess that’s the reason she’s Beyoncé. Her name is recognisable around the globe and that’s huge. When you know what you want, you won’t stop until you get it.”

He added: “[Other people are hearing her album] and are like ‘Whoa!’ And she’s like, ‘Yeah, I’m almost done’. And she’s the queen.”

Pharrell also discussed other projects that he had coming up in the near future and said:

“Ed Sheeran. Usher. I’m going back in with T.I. Beyoncé. Jennifer Hudson. Nelly has this really big record named ‘Rick James’. That’s my jam.”

“Hans Zimmer and I are scoring ‘The Amazing Spiderman 2’. The ‘Happy’ video, it just feels like people – good people that all remember that we are entitled to smile. I’m very excited about that.”

Pharrell Williams has also worked alongside Robin Thicke on his smash hit ‘Blurred Lines’ and the 40 year old producer and singer shows no signs of going away anytime soon, which is good right?
