In the final Official Singles Chart of 2013 Pharrell Williams knocked X Factor winner Sam Bailey from the top of the chart after just one week.

This week however, on the first Official Singles Chart of 2014 it seems that even Pharrell has only managed to stay at the top for one week as ‘Timber!’ by Pitbull featuring Ke$ha goes to Number (1).

According to the Official Charts Company ‘Timber’ by Pitbull featuring Ke$ha is at the top of the charts and for both artists is their third UK number one single.

In 2011 Pitbull was top number one twice with ‘On The Floor’ with Jennifer Lopez and ‘Give Me Everything’ with Nayer, Afrojack and Ne-Yo.

For Ke$ha she reached the top of the singles chart in 2009 with ‘Right Round’ with Flo Rida and again in 2011 with ‘We R Who We R’.
