Pixie Lott is making her comeback to the music scene. The singer has already confirmed her third album which will be self titled and she’s also confirmed the first single to be lifted from it.
The songstress has also confirmed earlier today that she will be working with The Vamps on an alternate version of their new single ‘Wild Heart’.
We reported last night that Pixie Lott had commented on being a female in the music industry and how she spoke about not being in a hurry to rush new material out.
The 22 year old spoke to You magazine in the interview and spoke about her return to music.
She said: “I feel if you have a voice, like Lily Allen or Joss Stone, you can come back at any time.”
“I would love to do a collaboration that’s purely me. I think if I had to do it now the clothes would have a ‘60s vibe. But it takes time because you have to do the sketches. Music comes first.”
Earlier this morning the beauty tweeted that she had been working with The Vamps and shared a trailer for the single which she’ll be providing vocals on.
The Vamps then replied and said: “We had such a lovely time 🙂 @PixieLott”
Pixie Lott also spoke in You magazine about her next single ‘Nasty’.
She said: “I am more so now. For the video to the first single, I wrote the treatment. I start out prim and proper, innocent and well-dressed, and then I see this guy and the clothes are transformed into something a bit more nasty.”
“It was a cool video to shoot.”
Watch a teaser of The Vamps and Pixie Lott performing ‘Wild Heart’ below. The collaboration is available on iTunes right now but the single itself is due to be released on January 19th.
Let us know your thoughts on the collaboration below and whether or not you’re excited at the return of Pixie Lott herself.
