Prince Harry has reportedly agreed to make an appearance on BBC’s Top Gear.

Jeremy Clarkson is said to have approached the royal about taking part in the “Star in a Reasonably Priced Car” challenge and Harry is thought to be keen to beat the record set by Hollywood actor Tom Cruise.

A source told The Sun:

“The prince is a massive Top Gear fan and is dying to give the Kia a spin.

“He loves driving and ideally he’d like to beat Tom Cruise just for the boasting rights.”

Harry also wants to bring some fellow soldiers to the show with him.

The source added: “He doesn’t want it to be all about him. He wants to raise awareness of the Armed Forces.”
