This week Sarah Beeny pays a call on Myles Gilbert and his marathon penthouse development on Brighton seafront. When they first met Myles hit setback after setback and never did finish the project, but Sarah couldn’t wait to see how this ambitious project was finished. So, over a year on, Sarah finally gets to see the apartment in all its glory, and it does look wonderful. There is a problem though. Against Sarah’s advice Myles refused to put in a lift so will it be worth the trek up five flights of stairs? And what will Sarah make of Myles’ latest property ventures that have plunged him a staggering £5,000,000 into the red?
