Queer as Old Folk explores the present-day lives and relationships of gay men who came of age when homosexuality was still illegal before 1967, and who are now growing old disgracefully.

These gay men made choices about their sex lives and sexual identities before legalisation in 1967, and for several decades simply lived with the consequences of these choices. But in the last few years, they’ve finally felt able to start making new choices… The last in a season marking the 40th anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexuality.
