Beaver Falls, starts July 2011, E4

“The key to a great summer camp is the quality of its staff. At Beaver Falls, we pride ourselves on recruiting only the finest, most morally upstanding young adults from across the globe. So you can rest easy knowing your children are in safe hands at Beaver Falls!”

Beaver Falls is the latest addition to E4’s hugely successful roster of home grown drama. The 2011 Broadcast Channel of the Year is already home to Bafta-winning Misfits, The Inbetweeners and Skins, and Beaver Falls continues the channel’s commitment to showcasing bold and original drama programming.

Featuring a hot young cast of emerging acting talent in Samuel Robertson (River City, Coronation Street) , Arsher Ali (Four Lions, Silent Witness, Wallander) and John Dagleish (Lark Rise to Candleford) E4 cements its reputation as the place to spot new faces and future stars.

Meet Flynn (Samuel Roberston), A-Rab (Arsher Ali) and Barry (John Dagleish). From very different backgrounds, they met at Oxford Brookes University (rule one – never mention the Brookes), were thrown together as housemates in their first year and have never looked back since.

They are three British chancers, now fresh out of uni and determined to have one last summer of carefree irresponsibility before they face the real world. And they’re going out in style, as, for reasons best known to Flynn, they’ve blagged themselves jobs at Beaver Falls, an elite American summer camp for the ridiculously beautiful teenage offspring of California’s rich and powerful.

This is a summer job that requires them to be responsible. To set an example. To be role models… whatever. There’s no way they’re going to let the job spec get in the way of their single-minded pursuit of The Ultimate Summer.
Two months of hanging out, getting into mischief, and chasing girls beckon and these boys are all set for the time of their lives. If they can just get through it without getting found out and deported…

Directors Daniel O Hara (Being Human, Skins) and Jack Clough (Skins) take the helm, and the 6 x 60′ series is created by Iain Hollands, series produced by Liz Lewin and is Exec Produced by Charlie Pattinson and George Faber for Company Pictures.
