An ambitious, dark and thrilling trilogy of interlinking films set in Yorkshire in the 1970s and 80s, adapted by Tony Grisoni from David Peace’s cult noir novels, and featuring an ensemble cast of celebrated actors. 1974 in Yorkshire is a time of paranoia, mistrust and institutionalised police corruption. Rookie journalist Eddie Dunford (Andrew Garfield) is determined to search for the truth in an increasingly complex maze of lies and deceit that characterises the police investigation into a series of child abductions. The first class cast also features Sean Bean, Anthony Flanagan, Warren Clarke, Rebecca Hall, Gerard Kearns, Eddie Marsan, David Morrissey and Peter Mullan.
