Good show. Everything else compares favourably to the american/aussie shows.

Hammond does a reasonable job but needs a side kick to make it work in the box on a comedy level.

The slide on the 1st event doesn’t need that flow of water its not an obstacle but is still funny when people don’t make it. With water it becomes and obstacle!

The wipeout zone is samey but a bit of a let down in someways, 1st being the spinner that if it got any slower it would stop! In the US show the thing moves quickly which has given youtube some of its best clips, so that needs sorting. Finally the rotating (doesn’t rotate at all) beam is a waste of space they should revert to a third trampoline because it works… Maybe think of something else more challenging.

All 3 people completing the course in under 4 minutes is a sure sign that it was far to easy…

I LOVE THE US SHOW!!! Please sort out the UK one before people start making unfair comparisons with that idiotic hole in the wall thingy with the lovely (sincere) Dale Winton.

I hope you guys find this feedback interesting at least :)

I haven’t seen the American show but I’ll be sure to check it out. I thought the British version shown last night on the BBC was fantastic.
I didn’t really see the point of Richard Hammond because the girl poolside and a commentary would have done. I also think that it should be shown in a more commical light.
The final event was a bit disappointing because each of the contestants would have got round in about 80 seconds if they hadn’t fallen in the water, but I hope this can be changed.
Having said that I’ll certainly be watching it again next week

At last!! Something worth watching on TV and some Saturday evening viewing worth staying in for. Well done to whoever worked out the need for it.
Saturday evening used to be THE night for family programmes. Maybe things will get back to how they were.
Until now, the only programme my whole family would actually stay in to watch was the Top Gear. Now there is another programme which is worth watching.
Hammond is the perfect sarcastic choice for presenter. Doesn’t say too much, just enough to make it interesting. His female ‘partner’ also has just the right length of interview and balance of sarcasm in her brief interviews with contestants.
It’s fast moving and it’s brilliant we get a winner at the end of each show instead of waiting for weeks of boring knockout rounds. Had a good laugh and thoroughly enjoed the whole programme.
    Terrific production, idea and presentation.
    Congrats.

Saturdays show was really good. It does not have as much humour as the american show, however was still fun to watch.

Role on next saturday, when u see my attempt at the balls

  5. Pakesie says:

Mmmmm…I agree with first comment, ‘Hamster’ would do better…or perhaps be funnier if he had a partner to bounce the sarcasm with. Pointless poolside ‘attendant’….she didn’t really contribute much in the way of personality or entertainment! Overall… funny the first time you see it…I don’t think we’ll see a second series however as the yanks did do a ‘good job’ with their show format.

  12. carl chrost says:

how do you apply for wipe out

  13. James Scott says:

    To late to apply..

The casting happened months ago, if my partner hears anything about season 2 I will post (she works in TV). I was going to apply, chickened out cause I smoked to much but now that I have given up I may apply for season 2. I would of made the topple towers and had lung and heart failure :)

It’s getting better… when are they going to start using the dreadmill, the tennis balls of doom and the infamous and also quite talkative (see US show) wrecking ball.

Someone used the yellow pen woooo.. Use it more, add some humour, hammonds comments are improving but it needs more…

Finally the sweeper, well its not changed yet?? whats going on? Where are the smoking crows, the spikes of doom, the crushers (2 beams that get closer together), the hoop with foam spikes and best of all DODGE BALL…

You can’t beat the sweeper but add some foam balls to throw at your competitors head, fantastic!!!!

Enough from me, can only get better..
