Top Gear bosses are reportedly going to have to double Richard Hammond’s pay if they want to keep him on the show.
The TV presenter reportedly wants to up his pay from between £10,000 and £15,000 per show to £30,000.
A source said: “Richard’s agents reckon he has become a much bigger star since his famous dragster crash. They say he’s now a huge name and his salary should reflect that.”
Richard was recently tipped to be taking over Richard and Judy’s primetime slot on Channel 4.
