Robert Englund has revealed that the remake of V makes him “feel pretty old”.

England played a mild mannered alien named Willie in the original miniseries’ and TV show. Robert also starred as Freddy Krueger in the Nightmare On Elm Street franchise, which is currently being rebooted as well.

“My two biggest hits are being remade so there’s kind of a perfect storm right now,” he told TV Guide.

He added that he is keen to make a cameo on the sci-fi programme and that he liked the “new translation” of the show’s villainess, saying: “The alien press secretary – the equivalent of Diana – that’s a great concept… I like her look.”
