Back in March Mick Jagger, frontman of The Rolling Stones, was hit with the tragic news that his partner L’Wren Scott was found dead in her apartment in New York.
Her death forced the legendary band to postpone their 14 date ‘On Fire’ tour while the group and in particular 70-year-old Mick Jagger dealt with their huge loss.
After taking some time out the band have since resumed their performances and last night The Rolling Stones took to stage in Oslo, Norway to kick off their tour again.
Mick was joined by regulars Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood and last night performed some of their biggest hits in front of a crowd of adoring and sympathetic fans.
Former bandmate Mick Taylor was also in attendance during the show, showing his support for the ‘Paint It Black’ hitmakers. Speaking about their tour to The Sun Mick Taylor said: “We’re all looking forward to it but we’re a bit nervous. Mainly nervous for Mick, we need to get the wheels turning again…”
Following the show last night The Rolling Stones will now continue with their tour and will visit Lisbon, Zurich, Tel-Aviv and the Netherlands.
