Sam Bailey’s dreams come true! Duet with Michael Bolton at NTAs 2014!
Sam Bailey will sensationally open this year’s National Television Awards, in what will be her first live performance since winning the X Factor. And she won’t be singing alone!
Broadcast live on ITV from 7.30pm on Wednesday 22nd January, the performance will see the chart topper joined on stage by two very special guests for a rendition of Motown classic Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.
It’s no secret that Sam’s biggest music hero is acclaimed singer Michael Bolton and NTA producers will be flying him in especially from LA for the one-off performance. And that’s not all… the Thornhill Community Academy choir from Channel 4’s surprise hit of last year, Educating Yorkshire, have spent months rehearsing and will be on stage to sing alongside the pair, kicking off proceedings at the glittering ceremony.
The National Television Awards, honours televisions biggest stars in the only TV awards ceremony where all the viewers are chosen by the public in a huge nationwide poll. A champion of viewer power, the NTAs is delighted to have been the UK’s market leading awards for nearly two decades. Tune into ITV from 7.30pm for what’s set to be another star-studded night!
